The ambassador of the United States, Paul Trivelli, said yesterday in Diriamba that after his government gave back the money embezzled to the State of Nicaragua during the government of German Arnoldo, and to invest it in works of progress for the childhood, the commitment of fight against the corruption follows still on.

He indicated that he hopes continue themselves giving back bottoms of the town, that were removed from Nicaragua and deposited in accounts of the family of the criminal Arnoldo Alemán in Miami, those that now have been recovered by the system of justice of their country.

Trivelli participated in the inauguration of the first stage of the Institute of the Academic Excellence (IDEA), in Diriamba, whose first financing was obtained with 2,7 million dollars that the government of the United States recovered Byron Jerez, ex- holder of the Main directorate of Ingresos (DGI).

“Today we are here because this school, while it remains still on, will represent a victory in that fight and a victory for honest people and worker of Nicaragua”, it referred.

“We are seeing the interminable hours, the days and months that have invested to both governments through the civil employees and authorities of public order to assure that there will be no robbery without punishment, without concerning the powerful thing that is the thief and his close friends”, it indicated.

IT EXHORTS ORTEGA

In its speech, Trivelli exhorted to the government of Daniel Ortega to continue supporting that fight. “In that sense we have seen important advances in the government of president (Enrique) Bolaños, and hoped that the future government of Nicaragua supports the directed efforts to fight against this flagellum”, he indicated.

Part said to feel proud of to have formed of inauguration of IDEA, inasmuch as it represents the new Nicaragua that refuses to allow that the corruption follows without punishment, and however invests in the education.

However, it said to recognize that to obtain zero corruption it is a dream difficult to obtain, since public exists in all the sectors, but considered that the commitment of the governments is to implement programs to avoid illicit acts, is with designed systems, arduous investigation and the punishment to the guilty.
