Each delegation will have a place assigned in the Seat of Not aligned Omar Torrijos.

The elect President, the sandinista Daniel Ortega, maintained yesterday that they will be the “competent authorities” those that will have to solve the possible cases of corruption happened in the present administration of Enrique Bolaños, who will yield the presidential band the ten of January.

In press conference with Bolaños, and after an encounter of more than three hours, Ortega assured that it will not be the Executive authority that he will direct the one in charge to carry out the pertinent processes against those people indicated by illicit acts, but that will be the corresponding authorities.

Those corresponding authorities would be the General Contraloría of the Republic (CGR) and the Judicial Power, that are under the control of the Sandinista Front of Liberación Nacional (FSLN), directed by Ortega, and Partido Liberal Constitucionalista (PLC), commanded by the ex- president and criminal Arnoldo Alemán, adversary of Bolaños.

At the moment, the Public Ministry is without general prosecutor and without attached general prosecutor, however, the strong candidates to occupy those positions are “political cards” of the FSLN and the PLC. They are doctor Hundredth Julio Go'mez and the general commissioner in retirement Ana Julia Guido.

Representatives of the PLC have said that Bolaños must be taken to the “prisoners' dock”, whereas members of the FSLN maintain that all the cases of corruption must be investigated.

Nevertheless, Ortega indicated yesterday that until the moment the crossing of the institutions to the new administration has happened in sequence.

Bolaños, who won to Ortega in the 2001, committed itself “to clarify” and “to help” the new administration, when it is necessary in those subjects that therefore ameriten it.

Meanwhile, Ortega reiterated that his government will look for more approach with the parliament to approve diverse laws.
