Granada in the sight Once the total of the reservations in the hotels of Managua is covered, the Chancellery of the Republic could make use of the hotel supply of cities bordering to the capital, like Granada.       The president of the Association of Hotels, Alvaro Diéquez, assured that the Chancellery would make use of the rooms of the main hotels of Granada, located to 45 kilometers of Managua. In the described department four great hotels in function exist, that add around 200 rooms. The vice-president of the Association, Miguel Romero, explained that it is “normal” that in situations like this one, when the hotel supply in the capital is exceeded, use becomes of the supply in near sites. Diéquez emphasized that the delivery of the presidential band, to the sandinista leader Daniel Ortega, is generating more habitacional demand with respect to the 2002, year in which the present President of the Republic received the band, Enrique Bolaños.

The hotel sector of the country will perceive up to 4 million dollars this month, as resulting from the income that will leave more than 150 delegations of government which they will attend the taking of presidential possession of the sandinista Daniel Ortega Saavedra, next the 10 of January, according to confirmed to the PRESS the vice-president of the Association of Hotels, Miguel Romero.

During the national elections, occurred five of November, the hotels the past, including the rentadoras of cars, they registered a total entrance that reached the three million dollars.

Romero commented that for Wednesday of the next week already they are reserved more than 1.200 rooms, of the main hotels of the capital and bordering municipalities.

The president of the Association of Hotels, Alvaro Diéquez added that only in Managua the rooms of the nine main hotels, that add around 750 rooms, already are to the top.

THE ESTADÍA
